SEASONAL PACKING LIST
Spring
The weather during springtime in Naples is some of the best weather all year long! It's not too hot or too humid. Flowers are blooming and the beach is wonderful. I recommend packing the usual beach necessities like a bathing suit, coverup, beach sandals, beach bag, hat, and sunglasses. Pack your sunscreen too. For day outfits, pack leisure wear and tennis shoes. For evening strolls and dinners, I recommend packing lightweight dresses (maxi or short), and sandals with a heel. Even nice dress pants and a cute blouse would be nice for evening wear. Bring a lightweight scarf because the evenings can be cooler in spring.
Summer
Okay, we are starting to heat up a little bit during the summertime in Naples, FL so think lightweight clothing and lighter color clothing to help repel the sun. During the day, pack you're typical beach wear necessities and consider packing long sleeve water shirts. The sun can really be stinging hot later in the day. During the evening, I recommend packing flowy maxi dresses, short dresses, lightweight pants, and blouses. Bring your sunglasses while you're out and about because the sun stays out longer. So if you're having dinner on 5th Avenue South or 3rd Street South you'll be happy you had your sunglasses glasses with you.
Fall/Winter
I'm grouping these two seasons together because fall leads straight into Winter. If Naples has a fall it's very short-lived. The winter weather in Naples is very mild but can be chilly for us Southerners. I recommend packing athleisure wear during the day with matching jackets and hats. For afternoon or brunch wear pack maxi dresses, short dresses with a jacket, pants, and skirts. Consider heavier weighted materials like linens and cotton. Wear your favorite heels because you can wear sandals year-round in Naples. If you are heading to the beach, pack your usual beach wear and always bring a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses.
